What a day for Petr Cech who crashed his car after Liverpool defeat.
Leaving the Emirates this evening, Petr Cech’s day went from bad to worse after crashing his car into a bollard in the Arsenal car park.
The car looked pretty wrecked but fortunately the Arsenal keeper walked away unharmed.
The damage to the car did not appear to be significant, but one witness claimed the car was 'a write off.'
Arsenal were booed from the pitch by the Emirates crowd after going 4-1 down in the second half.
Goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers restored some pride for the Gunners, but they were unable to salvage a point in a dismal opening day for Arsene Wenger.
“We are not ready physically,” said Wenger.
The Arsenal manager remained bullish when questioned on his perceived lack of activity in the transfer market saying “I have said many times we are working very hard to get one or two players in.”
